Day 31: It’s Halloween – Explore Your Wildest Dreams!
Today is the day for dress-up and play. Releasing the goblins and ghouls, embracing your inner princess, and becoming the hero you’ve always wanted to be.
Your kids don’t have to be the ones who have all the fun.
The pages of your journal are a place that you can be whoever you want to be.
You can think what you want to think, have whatever voice you want to have. Be whoever you want to be.
What is your secret hero fantasy? What does your castle in the sky look like?
Explore your wildest dreams. Don’t worry about form or grammar. Let your pen run like wildfire over the pages.
When you’re done with it mark the page and at some point go back over your story. What can you pull from the details that you want to include in your everyday life?
If you find a theme of independence in your pages, what can you do this week to increase your feeling of self-sufficiency? If your wildest dreams reveal that you want to spend more time outside, where can you go today that will make you feel uplifted?
Use the clues in your journal to decide on the actions that will make you feel like your life is full and happy.
The intention here is joy, right?
Prompt for day 31: Go back to list of things you really want from Day 19 of this challenge and read over it. Rank your list and use a highlighter to identify your top one to three desires. What is one step you can do in the next week to get closer to what you want? Put that action item in your calendar and get it done. Action is the most powerful tool we have in the universe.
